There are many, well-organised ways to get to Calvados.

 

By plane

Calvados has two airports, Caen-Carpiquet and Deauville-St Gatien, which, in particular, provide links to Lyons and Brighton.


By train

many towns in Calvados have rail access from Paris, Rennes, Cherbourg, Rouen, Le Mans. The main railway station in Calvados is Caen and there are many connections to Deauville, Trouville sur Mer.


By road

several motorways pass through Calvados including the A84 (Rennes-Caen), the A13 (Paris-Rouen-Caen) and the A27 (Le Havre-Honfleur).
